Why we publish these

Most of the questions we field are not about our services. They are about how a government process actually works, what it costs, and how long it really takes. The answers are scattered across portals, agent websites and outdated blog posts, and a fair amount of what circulates is wrong or years out of date.

These guides are what we would tell a client on the phone. Where a process genuinely requires professional help, we say so. Where it does not, we say that too. Several of these are things you can complete yourself in an afternoon, and you should.
